I am associate professor at the University of Teacher Education in Lausanne (HEP Vaud). I teach the pedagogy of computer science and do some research in the field of computer science education. My research interests have revolved around learning, information processing, self-organization and pattern formation in artificial, natural and human systems. I did my PhD in cognitive robotics at EPFL and then worked for about a decade as a research scientist in computational biology at the University of Lausanne and the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics before joining HEP Vaud.

I also teach computer science in high school and have worked as a freelance data scientist and consultant.
